Changes to your R U OUT platform

February 2026

R U OUT System Outage Notification

We’d like to advise that the R U OUT platform will be temporarily unavailable from 10:00pm on Sunday, 15 February 2026 through to 6:00am on Monday, 16 February 2026 due to planned system upgrades.

While we do not anticipate most facilities will be trading during this time, if emergency communication is required, please revert to your previous communication method for the duration of the outage.

If you have any questions or require further clarification, please contact our support team at support@ruout.com.au.

We appreciate your understanding as we continue to enhance the platform.

A new version of the R U OUT Tenant Platform will be coming soon.

The updated platform has been designed to improve usability and provide clearer access to information before and during an emergency, while keeping the way you access and use R U OUT the same.

Tenants and Wardens will continue to access R U OUT by scanning the QR Code Plate installed in their area. There is still no requirement to download an app or provide a mobile phone number.

What is changing?

Review

The new R U OUT platform functional changes are minimal. R U OUT is still very easy to use. Minimal training is required to know when and how to use the new R U OUT platform.

Please be aware that the below training resources show the new-look version of the R U OUT platform. There are minimal differences between the existing/older version of the R U OUT platform and the new-look version, majority of which are aesthetic only and do not change any functionality.

REVIEW- RESOURCES

Below are training resources that provide more detail on when and how to use R U OUT. These resources can be reviewed by leaders and Wardens at each Tenant.
